Listen to the stories of members of our community that give voice to who they are beyond their title or role. Lunch Provided.

Edmunds Ballroom, Pomona College

With a desire to encourage storytelling as a method of better understanding the diversity within our community, a panel of faculty, staff, students, and VPs will be sharing personal stories about an aspect of their identity. Table prompts will invite attendees to tell their own stories over lunch.

The Story Exchange is a weeklong, 7C-wide series of programs and activities that creates opportunities to share stories, listen to the experiences of others, and discover the connections that bring our community together.

Across The Claremont Colleges, students will be invited to participate as storytellers, listeners, creators, readers, and curious members of the community. Through conversations, music, art, reflection, and other forms of storytelling, The Story Exchange encourages us to look beyond first impressions, learn from different perspectives, and recognize both what we share and what makes each person’s experience distinct.
