Join us for an interactive exploration of the songs that have shaped us—songs that take us back to a meaningful moment, person, place, or feeling.
The Story Exchange is a weeklong, 7C-wide series of programs and activities that creates opportunities to share stories, listen to the experiences of others, and discover the connections that bring our community together.
Across The Claremont Colleges, students will be invited to participate as storytellers, listeners, creators, readers, and curious members of the community. Through conversations, music, art, reflection, and other forms of storytelling, The Story Exchange encourages us to look beyond first impressions, learn from different perspectives, and recognize both what we share and what makes each person’s experience distinct.
Music has the power to carry our stories, awaken memories, and connect us across experiences. hrough guided activities, music sharing, storytelling, and collective songwriting, we’ll use music as a tool for dialogue and creative expression, transforming experiences into something we can share together. Add a meaningful song to our collective playlist, enjoy live music, and connect with fellow students over a free lunch.
