It’s long been recognized that the low faculty-to-student ratio at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ and its Claremont peers is especially valuable for any student studying or majoring in the sciences. For a long time, ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ shared a science program with Scripps and Claremont McKenna Colleges (Pomona and Harvey Mudd have their own). Here we see Biology Professor Richard Lewis and three of his ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ students taking a closer look at two human brain specimens in 1997. This kind of intimate research experience is still true today for the Department of Natural Sciences of ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ and Scripps Colleges. In fact, for any prospective students interested in having regular up-close lab experiences like this, choosing to attend ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ should be—pardon the pun—a no-brainer.
